SYMPOSIUM DATE UPDATED MAY 26-28, 2022

Dear Researchers,

Due to Covid-19 and its mutants, which have been encountered around the world for almost two years, many symposium/congress organizations are either held online or postponed to a later date. In this process, it has been observed that the online symposiums are incompatible with both the technical problems and the spirit of scientific activities such as the symposium.

The 13th Regional Rock Mechanics Symposium, which we are organizing together with the Turkish National Rock Mechanics Association (TUKMD), is planned to be held between September 30 - October 2, 2021, and some activities are planned when the symposium is held face-to-face. However, due to these developments, after the evaluation made with the TUKMD Board of Directors, it was decided by the Symposium Executive Board to hold the 13th Regional Rock Mechanics Symposium between 26 and 28 May 2022, with the desire to hold it face-to-face. Thank you for your interest in the symposium, which aims to share the researches in the field of Rock Mechanics, to evaluate the outputs and to discuss them in a scientific environment, and to increase interdisciplinary cooperation, and we wish you success in your studies.
